The joy, hope, optimism, and resilience I’ve witnessed in my immigrant and refugee students not only reshaped my world view, but reaffirmed my faith in the American Dream. From my experience, it is undeniable that communities benefit as much from our newest foreign born neighbors as we do from the families whose names adorn street signs.

As a developer, classroom instructor, and coordinator of the award winning Language Institute I have witnessed the barriers immigrant families face firsthand.
My vision is to create policy, programs, and training so that these “at-promise” students can reach their full potential by becoming the self-sufficient and contributing members of society their families sacrificed so much to become.
