I help educate, empower, and integrate immigrants and traditionally marginalized demographics into our communities through progressive policy, cultural competence, and educational inclusion.

My passion is to help teachers, schools, and districts develop culturally responsive policies, practices, and procedures that support and engage traditionally under-represented and under-served communities.

As a developer, classroom instructor, and coordinator of the award winning Language Institute I have witnessed the barriers immigrant families face firsthand.

My vision is to create policy, programs, and training so that these “at-promise” students can reach their full potential by becoming the self-sufficient and contributing members of society their families sacrificed so much to become.

Because a hand up is not  a hand out…..
